Donatos Pizza and California Pizza Kitchen Help Customers Have a Heart on Valentine’s Day
This Valentine’s Day, pizza chains are helping customers have a heart — a heart-shaped pizza, that is. This includes Donatos Pizza, which has 168 traditional restaurants that will offer the special “create your own pizza” option on its thin-crust between Feb. 10 to 14.
President and CEO Tom Krouse noted that the company was excited to offer this option for its customers in all of its stores this year. “With all the challenges people have faced over the past year, we think this is a great way to bring a smile to someone’s face and make their day a little better,” he added.
According to Donatos, the heart-shaped pizza will cap one of its busiest pizza sales weeks of the year, which began with the Super Bowl, continued with National Pizza Day on Tuesday, Feb. 9, and ultimately concludes on Valentine’s day. To find out more, visit www.donatos.com.
California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) also is bringing back its heart-shaped pizzas for the holiday, as well as its “Sweet Deal for Two” promotion. Through the deal, customers can choose one appetizer, two entrees and one dessert from a $35 prix fixe menu, as well as three new “Sweet Deal Packages” for takeout orders.
“Valentine’s Day has always been one of CPK’s favorite holiday traditions,” CPK Senior Vice President of Marketing Ashley Ceraolo said. “Especially this year, we want to share extra love and joy with our guests, whether they’re choosing to dine with us safely in our restaurants or at home.” To find out more, visit cpk.com.
