Red Lobster Launches Nashville Hot Chicken and ‘Codzilla’ Sandwiches

Red Lobster’s Crispy Cod Sandwich — also known as “Codzilla” — features six to eight ounces of wild-caught cod.

This week, Red Lobster has introduced two new handcrafted sandwiches: the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and the Crispy Cod Sandwich, which also is referred to as “Codzilla.” The restaurant’s chicken sandwich is served on a buttery, toasted brioche bun with two crispy, sweet and spicy, all-white chicken tenders that are breaded in-house. They are prepared in spicy Nashville hot seasoning and sweet honey butter along with pickled peppers and cooling ranch.

Meanwhile, the Codzilla sandwich features 6 to 8 ounces of hand-battered, wild-caught cod that is fried until crisp and served on a brioche bun, along with slaw and tartar sauce.
