German business magazine Wirtschaftswoche has named Busch Vacuum Solutions one of Germany’s top family companies of 2020. The magazine presents this award to the 50 most-visible, innovative and popular medium-sized companies.
For the ranking, the market research institute Innofact surveyed 2,000 decision makers on behalf of Wirtschaftswoche. The institute evaluated nearly 500 companies based on trust, quality, innovation, sustainability and their image as a company and employer. Innofact then compared these results in relation to average turnover and employees, as well as the patents applied for between 2016 and 2018.
Busch Vacuum Solutions was founded in 1963 by Dr of Engineering Karl Busch and his wife, Ayhan Busch. The company leadership team has since expanded to include the second generation: Ayla, Sami and Kaya Busch.
Busch is represented worldwide with 3,500 employees in 44 countries and 66 owned companies. With the HUCKEPACK, Karl Busch developed the first vacuum pump for food packaging. Today, the company’s portfolio includes solutions for vacuum and overpressure applications in all industrial sectors, including the chemical, semiconductor, medical technology, plastics and food sectors.
